My work moves between poetry, parody, and paradox largely operating in the form of a gesture, an act or a proposition. I work with various media, but primarily text, photos, installation, and performance.

castrato: cuts from a scene, 2012, impromptu reading from via grimaldi written in residence during a 24hour performance (the 2nd piece in the pedestrian series). the main text is read by a male reader situated in front of the stairs to the installation’s “staging area,” including the photo installation staging, while the footnotes are read by a female reader in the guise of a greek chorus in front of the video projection, scene for a backdrop (all places are temporary), 2013 a non-static still video shot at the valley of the temples. installation view: bocs, catania, sicily (2012) — castrato: cuts from a scene, 2012
